Luke and I got a much needed weekend away in October compliments of our parents! Thanks for sending us away as a reward for Luke passing his licensing test! We stayed at this awesome lodge just outside Estes Park. Here's our view:
We hiked in the snow in Rocky Mountain National Park. We found this awesome rock cropping and watched elk spar.
Lily Rock Hike:
Shopping in town:
Viv modeling her hat!
Bubbles with Dad:
We went western for the Fall Festival at church. Viv hated her costume...as you can tell:
Uncle Erik and Viv:
Viv is 18 months now:
~ She is 26#9 oz (75%) and 33 1/2" (90%).
~ She loves watching Elmo. She asks for "Elmo ABC" or "Elmo's song."
~ She climbs onto the chairs and the table.
~ She so independent! She wants to do her own thing and will throw a fit if you interfere.
~ She has at least 200 words and is putting together sentences. People (who will remain nameless) like to teach her phrases - Shoot, Come on Man, Gosh, Nice, Oh man....
~ She is starting to dance.
~ She calls herself "Gigi" because she can't pronounce the V. It's so cute that it is sticking and we find ourselves calling her Gigi.
~ She will play peek-a-boo with anyone.
~ She finds purses of mine and says, "go shopping."
~ She knows that King Soopers has free cookies and Costco does not.
~ She has an amazing ability to remember names and faces. She knows grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, kids from church, Sheema, Chandra, and the list goes on =-)
