Thanksgiving

A couple of days before Thanksgiving we decided to decorate.  We haven't really decorated that much our entire married lives.  We still pretty minimal on decorations but we were quite proud of our effort this year.

Viv likes my stocking.  She calls it "jingle" because of the bell on the bottom.
We bought a new pre-lit Christmas tree this year.  It was such a "fun" experience.  I picked out my favorite one from Hobby Lobby.  Luke put it up only to find one of the strings of lights didn't work.  Being a guy who likes to make things work (that's the engineer in him), Luke had all sorts of ideas to make it work.  At the end he concluded that it was a faulty string of lights and we couldn't make it work.  So I felt like I had to have my decorating done and over with.  We headed back to Hobby Lobby just before closing and tried our second tree.  This worked and we love it!
Thanksgiving Day in Colorado:
Viv is obsessed with the trucks by my parents house.  Pops and Daddy (her latest name for Luke) each took turns taking her out and showing her the trucks and the "bobcat."  That is Viv's favorite piece of equipment.

Football.....
We had great conversation over Thanksgiving thanks to Aunt Karen's conversation starters =-).  We decided we are thankful for the 5 "Fs" - Faith, Food, Family, Football, and Freedom.
